Bass Energy routinely offers emergency response training to local fire and police personnel. The purpose of the training is to familiarize local responders with the location and use of well production equipment in their community, emergency shut off valves and procedures, and who to call in the event of an incident. Training typically consists of classroom discussion and an on-site, hands on inspection of a well head, tank battery, Dominion East Ohio Gas meter and regulating equipment, and house gas line equipment.

Instruction is performed by Bass Energy well personnel that maintain the equipment in conjunction with an ODNR inspector representative. Bass Energy also periodically sponsors AN Emergency Response Training Workshop that is held at the Wayne County Fire and Rescue Association Regional Training Facility in Apple Creek.
