Bass Energy, Inc. was formed in 1983 by Dr. William J. Hlavin for the purpose of exploring for oil and natural gas. Bass began by drilling just two wells on leases acquired while exploring geologic formations in Northeast Ohio. Bass has since grown steadily over the years as we continue to discover and develop oil and natural gas properties. Bass has become a full service oil and gas exploration and production company which now owns and operates hundreds of wells. Bass has maintained its offices in Fairlawn, Ohio since inception.
